Painting BARGAD, set inside Jahangir’s tomb compound drove me to multiplicity of thoughts as I continue to work on it….however glorious a time is, it passes away leaving remnants of gone regality….I felt the essence of loneliness as depicted by Nasir Kazmi’s illustration of thought in his poetic lines as growing shrubs on abandoned broken walls…glittering light through shadows as our beautiful memories make us happy in despair....when nothing comes permanent or formidable…..a complete solitude at the tomb compelled me to name this more than two year long my labor of love ,still in making, nothing but …DUSHT E TANHAI !
